This comes to you at NO EXTRA COST. All you need to do is perform your regularly scheduled maintenance with us and we will replace your tires when they wear out at no cost to you! 

 

WHAT SERVICES NEED TO BE PERFORMED?

Maintaining your vehicle is the best way to protect your investment. Regular scheduled maintenance is required, including, but not limited to: oil changes every 3,000 miles and tire rotations and balance (if recommended) every 6,000 miles. A four wheel alignment once per year or every 12,000 miles.

 

WHAT IS COVERED UNDER THE ENGINE WARRANTY?

The lifetime engine limited warranty covers engine components, and related labor. This covers all internally lubricated parts contained within the engine block and cylinder head(s) including: piston, piston rings, wrist pings and bushings, connecting rods and rod bearings, crankshaft and main bearings, camshaft, cam chains, cam bearings and cam cover, timing chain, gears, tensioner and guide, variable valve, timing parts, rocker arms, shafts and bushings, rocker arm pivots, adjustments screws, spring and tension controller, valves, valve seats, valve springs, valve spring retainers, valve guides, valve push roads, hydraulic valve lifters, oil pump, oil pump drive, shaft and gears. Cylinder head, engine block and rotor housings when damaged as a result of the failure of a covered internally lubricated part. Seals and gaskets when required in connection with the repair or replacement of a covered part. Coolant, lubricants and oil filters when required in connection with the repair or replacement of a covered part.

 

ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN CHARGES?

Absolutely not! This is a benefit we provide to our guests as a reward for purchasing and maintaining their new vehicle with us. No inflated cost or phony pricing on service. You are simply responsible for mounting, balancing and sales taxes (if applicable). 

 

WHAT KIND OF TIRES DO I GET?

We offer a few different tires. We review what tires we offer annually based on Consumer Reports and other analyses. Because of their durability and customer satisfaction, we replace your tires with the tires the manufacturer calls for. Prefer a different tire? We're happy to install any tire you chose! A very small fee may apply for some brands to upgrade.

 

ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS?

Because of their significantly shorter life span, vehicles equipped with speed rated tires (WRX, STi, and Turbo models) as well as trucks larger than 1500, do not qualify for Tires For Life. 

 

WHAT IF I HIT A CURB OR MY TIRE GETS PUNCTURED?

Tires wear, and that's why we offer the Tires for Life program. We have roadside coverage separately available if those are concerns, so that you can feel at ease that your tires are protected.

Tires: On new vehicle purchase. Not valid on Dually Truck, Aftermarket Wheels, SRT, Hellcat, and RAM 3500 (Single Rear Wheel Only) models. Vehicles less than 12,000 miles. Dealership will replace at no cost to you for any tire(s) equivalent to those on the vehicle on the Purchase Date if the tread depth of the tire(s) has worn to 3/32" of an inch or less due to normal wear. Subject to availability, the exact make/model tire or a comparable tire will be installed. Tire(s) damaged due to road hazards, misalignment, or abnormal wear are not eligible for repair and/or replacement. All maintenance services that are recommended and/or required by the manufacturer or this dealership, including oil changes every 3,000 miles and tire rotations and balance (if recommended) every 6,000 miles, and, a 4-wheel alignment once per year or every 12,000 miles, must be performed at this dealership for as long as you own your vehicle in order to maintain your eligibility for tires for life. You are responsible for mounting, balancing and sales taxes (if applicable) of any tire(s) replaced by this dealership. Lifetime Warranty: If you decide to sell the vehicle, the warranty is nontransferable. All maintenance must be recorded by authorized staff member at time of service at McKinney. Failure to meet any of these conditions or requirements, immediately voids warranties and programs.
